All Head Rocksport Guides are Licensed through the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and have received additional training from the American Mountain Guides Association.
ROBERT "DOC" LIVINGSTON
Doc has been guiding outdoor rock climbing with Rocksport for 15+ years, and helps coach the Rocksport Climbing Team. His favorite days out include introducing families to outdoor rock climbing here in the Lake George region, or working with indoor climbers transitioning to outdoor climbing on anchors and rescue fundamentals.
JR HMURA
JR Hmura is an AMGA SPI Guide who is licensed in NYS and I specialize in helping clients achieve their climbing aspirations. I’ve guided diverse clients around many cliffs of the Adirondack Park from welcoming sport routes overlooking beautiful lakes, long and hard routes in the Northern cliffs and fun adventures up multi-pitch on Rogers Rock, Chapel Pond Slab, Wallface and Poke-O-moonshine. No matter the age and expertise level, I promise you’ll learn something novel and have fun!
TOM ROSECRANS

Tom has been climbing in the Adirondacks for 51 years and guiding here for 31. Tom wrote an early guidebook to the Adirondacks (1976) and has continued to contribute more than 120 new routes there. A lifelong educator and traveler Tom has climbed extensively in the US and Europe, with several forays to Africa and the Himalayas. He is dedicated to sharing his passion and experiences in the mountains.
